Foothill College Track Workout Mon/Wed @ 6:30pm

Join the IPF MVP Running Program and let us help you complete the Los Altos Family Fun 5K on New Year's Day. This program is designed to help you set a fitness goal, then exceed it!

When:
Mon/Wed nights 6:30pm -7:30pm

Where: Foothill College, Los Altos

Cost: $40/mo, or $10 drop in (please be sure to bring $2 for the Foothill parking lot)

The workouts will have the following structure:
Warmup:
1-2 miles
Running drills
Hip stability (single leg squats, black bands

Workout:

Mon: Longer duration, lower intensity
Wed: Shorter duration, higher intensity
Post Run: Hip stability/Core Strength + Dynamic flexibility to increase joint to range of motion, flexibility and to “reset the hips.”

Two field tests week 4 and week 8 to measure fitness gains.

Workouts will be lead by IPF running coach and marathon vet Brigit Das NASM-CPT. She has over 15 full and half marathons completed, not too mention a ton of shorter events that she's finished.
